Wow! Like science-fiction films that take your full attention to the end.
Being rich has not been easy on the fourth wife, though at first she appeared to be in control or try to be. Guess what, was not strong enough to survive the situtation in a master's castle of four wives total. An educated women went mad after she tried to teach the ladies how to be in control, lost her thinking, and could not take the pressure of living and socializing with the crue of mistresses.
One of the most disturbing films of the 1990s, too much real for the Real World, but worth to watch, it moves people's minds into fear, worry, and fascination!

I also watched this film. Although the scenery is very beautiful, my heart hurt for the women. They must have been so lonely in their beautiful houses where no one could be trusted.
